Pretty Disgusting (4 y/o drugged to death)

I studied psychology, and I'm pretty sure I remember that the DSM stated that people less than 18 years of age cannot be diagnosed with these diseases (or at least the edition I had did, I don't know if it still says that) - and yet this girl was diagnosed with these conditions at the age of 2 - and was prescribed drugs meant for adults!

This already disgusts me enough, but if the charges against her parents are true - then they're even mroe disgusting in my opinion. These people literally murdered their daughter so they could get some sleep?

This is severely disturbing. What person can honestly say that a 2-year-old is diagnosible as hyperactive or bipolar? The girl was 2!!! And to justify it by saying that the older siblings had problems is just a crock of bullshit... that's not how genetics works, folks! Some kids just have energy... how about taking her out for a walk, or play with her? This is simply not right!

You know, as crazy as Tom Cruz is with his wacky Scientology, I'm beginning to think he's right about psychological medications.

EVERY kid is addressed as ADD/ADHD, or some sort of mental disease. It's really getting ridiculous.

Now this, it's just sickening and heart breaking.

Horrible and heinous. These people are obviously losers. They should rot in prison.

I hate it how, as Texas said, children are "diagnosed" then medicated. It's wrong. Maybe 1/10 of 1% of kids have the problem. But in the last year or so, about 1/2 of the parents are medicating their kids. It's wrong and not necessary -- and points to bad parents, not sick kids.

And on top of that, they blame EVERYTHING on their doctor. When you're overdosing your kid THAT much, it's not the doctor's fault.

but ultimately, the doctor does hold some responsibility.
if you think something is truely wrong, you don't just cut the prescription, you report it to someone.
