Idler arm question

I have to replace the idler arm on my 95 k1500 4x4. 130,000 miles. Should I have to replace the arm and pivot assy. or just the arm? Also, should I remove the whole assy to change just the arm on the bench? Thers is a pretty wide swing on the prices as well. From 23.00-75.00 any help on removal and brand I should buy and torque specs as well as any tips would be appreaciated.
Thanks-95Z

Re: Idler arm question

Are the bushings in the bkt worn, if so you need the whole thing. Check this link. http://autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker...3d80088152.jsp

Re: Idler arm question

I would recomend on spending more money and buying a good one, don't buy a second line, you will regret it. Look for a part store that either sales Spicer or Moog, both are excelent brands.
