89 blazer power locks & windows not working

Hey everybody...

My Moms '89 Blazer's power windows & Locks quit working....She doesn't have an owners manual so I don't know if there's a fuse I need to check or what. Any ideas on what to check and where it is that I need to check? If its a ground where would that be?

Thanks For all help in advance

Check your fuse block on fire wall under dash on drivers side for pwr window fuse, then check the pwr window switches, switches are common problems usually dirty contacts, bad switches, or a bad wire connection.

Re: 89 blazer power locks & windows not working

Power windows are typically protected with a circuit breaker. It's located in the fuse panel with all of the other fuses. Power door locks are also protected with a circuit breaker located in the fuse panel. The two circuits use two separate breakers. Check the wire harness at the "A" pillar where it goes from the body to the door. With constant opening and closing of the door, the wires will break eventually. The harness is inside of a rubber boot.
