wheel bearing hub replacement

pretty sure whell bearing is bad on left front. makes awfull roaring sound at speed. my question is will i hurt anything by driving it another month till i cough up some cash to let someone fix. what is the worst thing that could happen. and do i have to be aprofessional to swap front hubs out. car has 155,000 miles on it replaced right side last year.

Re: wheel bearing hub replacement

Do the job yourself or with a friend. You can find a lot of guides on doing it and its very easy if the bearing comes out nice. I had very good luck with bothe of mine and did the second one in about 30 minutes. I would not drive the car too far for fear of the wheel locking up.

Re: wheel bearing hub replacement

Bargain Tip on Hubs. I orderd from racepages.com 2 hubs (left and Right Front) for a total of $184.68 including freight. Came is 5 days and work well Part # US-NT513087. I think this is the same part AutoZone gets $259.98 for Two.
