Anyone know of any easy way or is there another post somewhere else that tells how to change a fuel pressure regulator on a 99 w/ a 2.4?

Welcome to AF.
Its not that dificult on either engines. Just pull the fuel pump fuse, to drain the fuel rail and releave the pressure, then start it and let it run untill it dies. You need to do this with the 4 cylinder models because you dont have a shradder vavle to releave the fuel pressure. Then its just a matter of removing things to gain access to the FP regulator. You'll need a couple good line wrenchs for the fittings. Also Make sure you replace the "O" ring with a new one so you dont have leaks. This is something I should put up in the Tips & Maintenance section with a few picks ![]() Hope that helps.
