Starter
Seems a friend of mines starter went out on her Trooper. Looking to replace it and have never replaced a starter. Can someone give me a clue where I can locate it and what tools and work will be envolved? Thanks!

see this thread about 4 threads down http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=222510 it's on the drivers side where the engine and trans mate the bolts, unlike other vehicles, face *down* so that parts easy take the wheel off and the skirt and it's easier any other questions after you read...? //bc

Re: Starter
Thanks for the info. I read another thread yesterday and it said that you do not have to remove the exhaust if it is not a 4x4. I did not mention that I will be working on a 4x2, does this change the work envolved?

Re: Starter
if you have a 4x2 I believe it is possible to wiggle it out.
