Bush wants to cut the amount of gas we use. The best way for him to stop using so much gas would be to deport 11 million illegal immigrants! That would be 11 million less people using our gas. The price of gas would come down. Bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the border. When they catch an illegal at the border, hand him a Rifle, Ammo, & Canteen and ship him to Iraq. Tell him of he really wants to come to America he must serve a tour in the military. Give him a soldiers pay while he's there and tax him on it. After his tour he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defend this country. He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.

Option 2 ~ for Illegal Immigration

This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution to the troops in Iraq and the aliens trying to make a better life for them selves. If they refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway, without the Rifle, Ammo & Canteen. Problem solved...

Come on.....then what border was the joke referring to? Lets not be so naive. Doesn't have to be expressed but it is implied.

The majority of the so called 11 million illegals are from south of the border so I seriously doubt it was about our northern border with Canada. I'm on the U.S./Mexico border and well aware of the issues on immigration. The part I really disliked is the abuse of our military even in a joking fashion.

Exactly. Whenever the issue of immigration is brought up someone immediately starts talking about race. True that most of our immigration issues are at the Mexican border, but that doesn't make it a race issue. Hell, not all of the illegal immigrants are Mexican citizens, and even if they were, "Mexican" is not a race, it is a nationality. Calling someone a Mexican is not a racial slur. Over the years, I've worked with a lot of guys from Honduras. Most of them severely disliked Mexicans, whenever one of them talked badly about Mexico it was understood to be a nationality issue and nothing to do with race. Why is it different when an American talks about Mexico than when a Honduran does? Are we only allowed to express our dislike for what a Country's citizens do when the country has a similar racial makeup of our own? Why in the hell is someone's race such a big deal? People that are so quick to want to label someone as a racist, most likely have issues of their own.
