truck problem.. help please

hey guys i got a 1988 sierra 1500 4.3 now my engine light has been coming on every so often ..... and when i just start up the truck without letting it run it chokes when i give it gass... but it would go away when it warmed upp... now today i drove it and when it was warmed up and it choked whenever i would push the gas... aspeacialy when i would change gears its like its studdering when i give it gas... i changed the fuel filter not to long ago and i gave it a tune up in the summer so i'm guessing its got somthing to do with my fuel injectors or somthing got any ideas guys thank you ..

Start by having the codes scanned. Once you have the codes repost here and that will give us something to start with.
