89 olds ninety eight cuts out

i have a 1989 olds 98 brougham regency that runs fine while idling but start to drive it an it when i stop at a stop sign a couple of blocks away then i press on the gas the engine cuts out but doesnt die only everyonce in a great while i had a code 22 an replaced the tps but that wasnt the prob please help me i am leavin for the service soon an my mom needs a dependable vehicle

Welcome to AF. Check fuel pressure after it runs a few minutes, under load.35-40 psi.

fuel pressure fine has a brand new pump an filter

Try disconnecting the maf and see what happens.

Welcome to AF. This thread is really too old, I will answer this but start a new one if you need additional info. Mass air flow sensor measures air flow for the pcm, it is in the intake duct and/or throttle body.
