I have a 92 dodge dakota. The coil has no fire. I have changed the coil and the pick up in the distributor. Can anyone help?

Re: help no spark
'92 will have OBD-I, thus the typical -II scan tools don't apply here. You don't mention the engine size. Plus, you say there's no fire at the coil. Are you testing for spark from the coil wire to ground? Or from a spark plug wire to ground? This may help diagnosis.
