question about ABS / TCS OFF light error
i was hoping someone might know a little about a problem i'm having:
the last month or so my ABS error and TCS OFF lights have been illuminated about half the time i'm driving. i've found other threads that discuss a possible wheel bearing problem or maybe that the ABS control module is malfunctioning. but also, while those lights are illuminated, i've noticed that my windshield wipers do not function, nor does cruise control. does this narrow done the problem to anyone's knowledge? thanks in advance for any help, oh yeah, it's a 2000 GTP sedan with 117k miles atob |

Re: question about ABS / TCS OFF light error
It sounds like a possible ignition switch/harness issue. It's a common cause of electrical gremlins on these cars, and may be your issue as well. Other common anomalies include the DIC going out and heater fan speeds becoming randomly inoperative.

Re: question about ABS / TCS OFF light error
thanks richtazz,
the lights went away and the problem is (temporarily) gone for the last 2 weeks, which is good because we've had a lot of rain which would have made the nonfunctioning windshield wipers a real bummer. anyway, i guess i'll wait until it comes back... atob |
