Engine swap
I posed a question over on the Bonneville site about an engine swap but apparently there is not much activity over there. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Engine swap
I answered you there too Wally. Both are Vin-K engines, so other than subtle differences from year to year, it should be a fairly painless swap. The Impala was offered with both guages and idiot lights, so sensors may need to be swapped.

Re: Engine swap
I agree it should work but there will be some other logistical issues. The Bonny does not use the same engine mounting system as the Impala (front wishbone) so you will need to transfer all engine mounts over to the replacement engine and can/remove the brackets off the replacement engine.
