Engine light on ...Evap Canister Vent Control Valve:
Can anyone tell me if these parts are fixable by someone other than the dealership??? The engine light came on but the car runs ok thus far! The dealership said it was the EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve and the Canister that needs replaced, going to cost $476.72. The car is a 2004 Nissan Sentra, and has been serviced up to date and has already had to have the fuel pump replaced, brakes, rotors, and the belt several times because of it squealing constantly. Any help is appreciated!!
