I was switching out my alternator cause it was shot and I noticed that a couple of wires on the electrical wire harness plug are frayed. I'm triing to locate another plug with like 3 inches of the wire so I can soder the new plug onto the old harness w/o having to buy the $950 electrical harness. Does anyone know where I can find that type of item or has one to sell. Oh also it is the 2.4l non turbo spyder.

Re: Alternator Electrical Harness Plug
Frayed? Like fried? If it's just some bad wires, cut off the harness and rewire it. It's really not too hard. I mean you still have to do that even if you get a new harness. You don't need the whole piece, just that set. Go to a junk yard and see if there's any of your car there. If not, I would say just rewire it yourself.
