Talking Just bought a 1989 CRX HF

Hey guys, new to this board but not new to the site. used to drive a TL. Alright, i'm picking up a white 1989 CRX HF for $1500. I was wondering what you all suggest for swapping engines. I've heard great things about ZC's i can get one for $500. What about B16's, do you guys consider that overpowered? i'm not sure on what to do though. In my parts CRX's are pretty common, with the LED windshield washer nozzles and the LED valvestem caps. I was actually going to be different and start a little JDM project. keep it clean. what are your suggestions?

Definitely keep it clean. If you want a cheap swap go with the ZC or Sohc Vtec. If you want more power go with a b series swap. b16a, b18a/b, b18c/c1/c5, or an LS-Vtec, CRVtec, or just a plain b20 swap. the possibilites are endless. Good Luck

Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor wouldn't say a B16A was too much power... he'd say "More Power!" and grunt a few times!

If you can afford it, why not just buy a whole JDM front clip? engine, bumpers, suspention and all!

Too much power!?!! What does this mean? How can you have too much power? .... Go with a b-series engine or a SOHC vtec. So many ppl have had problems with the ZC, ask almost any1 who has one on this forum.......

Since I've been on this board, I've never heard of anyone having serious problems with their ZC (at least nothing that doesn't happen just as often with other engines).
