Sounds of sloshing water.

Recently my car has sounded like there was a tub of water in it. I've openedt the hood and can't find where any water was. From a stop to start or slow turns, it sounds like water is just slushing aroung inside there. I have no idea where to go with this since I've never encountered it before. Please help.

Check under the spare tire in the trunk.

Re: Sounds of sloshing water.

It's dry. The sounds comming from under the hood/dash. I hope I don't have to pay a lot of $$$ on this.

Carpets dry. You're the 2nd one to mention the AC drain plug. How do I get to it?

Re: Sounds of sloshing water.

if you look in the engine bay it's just slightly below the battery. it looks like a regular piece of plastic tubing .you have to have access to shop air or compressor to blow out the tubing to remove what ever is clogged with air.so the water can come out .I hope this helps you out

Re: Sounds of sloshing water.

I have a '97 with the same problem. Do you have to take out the battery to get to the drain hose?

Re: Sounds of sloshing water.

I didn't get to drain the hose. It cleared up on its own when it got hot.
