F1 appearances in the pipeline?

from www.mclarenautomotive.com -

"At McLaren Automotive we are aware of how many enthusiasts appreciate the opportunity to see the McLaren F1 in the flesh. We wish to maintain the presence and profile of the McLaren F1 and all its variants at motor shows, councours or exhibitions and other special high-profile events

In July 2006 a rare white McLaren F1 roadcar was on display at Salon Prive in London, and the McLaren F1 LM was in the supercar paddock at the British Motor Show. The 1995 Le Mans winning 59 car was shown earlier this year at the Autosport International Show at the NEC, Birmingham.Though we have no upcoming events scheduled at the moment, you can be assured that the website will be the ultimate guide and source of information for forthcoming exhibitions of the McLaren F1."

Rest assured as soon as anything crops up regarding future appearances someone on here will let you guys know

yes it is an analog pic (of course) and have it in one of my photoalbums

Will scan it if I have some time or take a pic of the pic.
At that time I video'd the car, and later took some pics of the video. lol!!! But the pics are crap!

And I really need to see it again!!!

Re: F1 appearances in the pipeline?

Hope it's not old news but a Mclaren F1 will be on display at the British International Motor Show which takes place at London's ExCel Centre from July 23rd to August 3 2008, Info obtained from June 2008 issue of Octane magazine.

I read Octane last night and saw this too - wonder which one it'll be? XP1LM with Lewis's name on it?

Re: F1 appearances in the pipeline?

Here is the shot of the signature on the door shut of #06R that Le Man told us about in an earlier thread (can't find it at the mo to link to it) - any ideas as to whose it is?

I'm not surprised he has a new one, what with the amount of times it's seen on the road, it must be the highest mileage GTR Road conversion out there (that we know of )

See my pic below of the seat in #06R, taken at the Gooodwood Festival of Speed last year
