1995 Maxima GLE - Shifting problem

I own a '95 Nissan Maxima GLE with automatic transmission. The car has 106,000 kms on it, and has developed a very bothersome driving characteristic. Under light to moderate acceleration, the transmission will upshift at a very low rpm, causing the car to bog down, sputter and buck. It doesn't seem to be hunting for a gear. My local shop did not find any fault codes stored for the transmission. Has there been any kind of service bulletin issued for this?

sounds normal to me ?

if you floor it, the RPMs go to redline right, or does it shift way before ?
and see what happens when you turn off the "overdrive"
it should hold the RPM longer and not bog the engine.
