The puller is just that a puller. In order to use it you must remove the air bag, disable the system by pulling the fuse or disconnecting the negative battery cable and waiting for about 30 minutes before starting. Then remove the air bag. Remove the nut that holds the wheel in place and attach the puller. You will usually have to secure the three bolts in the holes in the steering wheel. Place the center bolt in the puller and simply turn it in as the steering wheel comes loose. I hope this helps.
