Lancer
for some reason... I just like how they look.And..the new Toyota car is the 395 (Taking over the Supra's place). I read about it in Sept 2002 Road and Track. Toyota's thinking of making two verions of the engine (V8 and V6). The V6 will have about 280hp 3.5L engine while the V8 will have a 4.3L @ around 350hp. The V6 will cost around the same as a 350z and the V8 is going to run from 40K-45K. I'd still stick with the 350z...from the pictures I've seen of the 395, it looks kinda ugly to me. |

The Subaru Impreza WRX STi is only going to have a 2.0L engine, not 2.2. Unless you're really talking about the twin turbo Subaru Legacy B4 STi...

Heres a link to the new supra.
http://home.datacomm.ch/mario.kalt/s.../new_supra.htm I saw a better picture of it on another site a month or so ago, but I cannot seem to find the site. The car is UGLY. I would take an old Supra any day over the new one if it looks like this picture. Also Supra owners want way to much for their cars which are 5+ yrs old. |

Those are only possibe concepts for the new supra. And IF it comes out it'll probably be 2005. Japan will get it a year before us and they have no concrete info yet. Toyota's attitude towards perfomance cars has been declining for years now. I have a GTS celica.

Actually the US WRX STi will have a 2.5l engine pumping out 300hp and 300lbs/ft of torque.

If I can have only one sports car, but something to drive in snow and rain, then I'll take the 350Z.
If I can have only one car at all, then DEFINETLY the Subaru STi. Their WRX's are not at all affected by weather, and they're fast. Only gets better with more HP/TQ, and Driver Controlled Center Differentials.

That isn't the new Supra, anyway. I would go for the 350Z or new Supra.
