Need help removing factory stereo

I have the u shaped tool but is there a bracket on the back or sides that needs to be removed also...Thanks

No but you need 2 tools one for each side. It is a bit tight but if you work away at it, the radio just slides right out.

You can also use 4 long nails. Once inserted push out (to each side of the radio) and she will slide right out. I worked in a stereo shop for 10 years and many times customers would come buy and ask us to remove the radio for them. We did it for free, if you can find a shop to help you slip the installer $5 and he will wip it out for ya!
