I need to change the attenuartor in my 99 cougar V6. The only way I see to get it out is by dropping the A a-frame and axel. Is there a better way?

Are you sure you dont mean the alternator?

im not sure about dropping the A frame and the axel but i do remember it does have to come out the bottom....
