Peugeot 206 WRC

Finally managed to complete my 2nd model. A couple of mis-shapes and mistakes on the decals tho.

Feel free to criticise or comment, thanks

Re: Peugeot 206 WRC

Terrific job, nice model. The only thing I feel, and it is not a critisism,is it looks a bit bare without the Marlboro logos (I know on the Monte Carlo they are only fitted in the principality itself though) so most of the time it is seen without them as you rightly depict on your model.Did you spray paint the white stripes on the door bottoms and the bumpers? They look superb!!

Re: Peugeot 206 WRC

Sweet looking model!

If I may suggest something, is to paint the black on the front lion!

I would do that maybe with a toothpick?

ciao

Re: Peugeot 206 WRC

Hi fatmonk. As you said this is your second model. I would suggest to remove the Montecarlo Plate of the front bumper of your 206 WRC - if you have the chance-. I also agree with Bigfrit suggestion.

Regards,

Re: Peugeot 206 WRC

Looks fantastic, especially being your 2nd model! Really clean...which makes me think it should be weathered a bit being a rally car

I sprayed the bottom part white, masked it and then sprayed red. The red lines are decals provided. I kinda agree with your suggestions tho, about the Marlboro logos. Thanks man.

Regards,
You mean the decal on the front bumper? If it is, then it's actually a 'cover-up'. I messed up the red lining decal, so not leaving it look empty, I used the extra decal. Heh..

Well, I was soooo tempted to dirt it. But afraid of screwing the entire car. Maybe on my future rally kit.

Re: Peugeot 206 WRC

Nice car! You did great!

I've build 2 of them ('00 and '05) and I'm putting the decals on the '02 winner version. I love building those Peugeots!

I agree too. it's a great car to build. Now i'm contemplating whether to build the white version (can't remember the year model) or the 05 Subaru Monte Carlo. But meantime, need to finish my bike kit first. Hope it turns out well.

Re: Peugeot 206 WRC

Nice clean build, especially for a 2nd model.

Touch in the wheel-nuts, maybe add some panel lines, and I'd say it's right there!
