need wiring help

I just got a 99 tahoe and I put a stereo in it. the prob i have is that my truck is a 4 dr and all the wirig kits i found are for 2 dr I need to know which wires are for the back door speakers because the front and rear speakers work

SOME ONE HELP

I would think the wiring harnesses would work for both, but it's just a guess.

well most aftermarket hu use front and rear and sub so if you have speaker in the back back part then use that as your rear and just splice the harness to make is so that normal front ones are connected to the other doors one but keep the left side with the left side and the right side with the right side.

my hu only has a sub out no rear or front and im trying to splice in with the after market wiring kit i just need to know witch wires on the factory are for the rear door cause i tryed a bunch of different ways but nothing worked

there was a guy on termpro that had the same problem let me look and see what he had to do, course his were in the hatch but i'm sure it would be close to the same solution

I take it you have 6 speakers. And it sounds like only 4 are working, if this is the case you wont get the other set owrking unless you amp them.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. just had the same problem hook up the remote wire.. i got a 99 tahoe and back seat door speakers wernt wokin and i was confused they worked fine with stock deck but not after market .... check out this thread http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=146977
