oil pressure???

first off, thanks for the site!! a very useful tool...

i have a question on oil pressure on a 2004 HD crewcab 2500 6.0.....what should the pressure read on the dash? and is it suppose to fluctuate to 75 lbs. at 4000 rpm?

the dealer said its normal and the specs call for 5 to 75 lbs. which they printed out for me.

any input would be greatly appretiated.....thanks!!

Re: oil pressure???

found out i was wrong....i talked to the mechanic and he admitted that gm has issues with high pressure but considers that normal....according to him there has been no major problems with these high readings....
