g/f's car, need help

Alright so my girlfriends battery died today in her 99 cirrus lxi. We noticed the problem when she went to use keyless entry and it woudln't work. So she opened the door manually and the alarm "tried" to go off, but it was beeping faintly as if the battery was dieing, and the car wouldn't turn over and lights wouldn't turn on. So what i did was try to jump the car, but the minute i gave the battery juice, the alarm started blarring, so we tried to shut alarm off using unlock/lock, and nothing, the alarm just blared and the car still wont turn over. All the automatic locks work, lights, etc... but the car wont turn over while the alarm is going off and we cant shut the alarm off.

What to do?

I tried finding a fuse or switch for the alarm but i cant find it. So the only way to let the alarm go off was to kill the battery again.
