Sticking Key
My 2000 Jimmy ignition key sticks. Not always though. Then if you push brake and hit button on shifter and wait a bit, something clicks and it comes out. Ignition switch?? Thanks

Re: Sticking Key
i have the same problem with my 98, its the solenoid inside the collum, its believe it is supposed to be part of the anti-theft system. Not sure if you replace just the solenoid. if it sticks really bad, look under your key and there is a tab under there on the collum. remove it and if you stick something in there, like another key, it will release your ignition key. i opened the collum and lubed it up with some silicone, but it still does it from time to time...but it helped.
