Nasty Exhaust Leak

I have a 2000 GTP and I have a problem w/ an exhaust leak somewhere. I believe it is coming from the flex piece before the cat, after the crossover pipes leave the manifold. I cant really tell, but it is alot worse under moderate to heavy acceleration. You cant hear it at all under slow acceleration. Any help or previous experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Daniel

Re: Nasty Exhaust Leak

If you are sure it is an exhaust leak in that area then you may want to checkout the crossover pipe to exhaust manifold joint. There is a gasket. See link below. Also, make sure the flange bolts are tight.
