Replacing Ignition Switch
Hey all!
Is it fairly easy to replace the ignition switch in a 1994 Jeep Cherokee? If so, can anyone give me any info on replacing it myself? Thanks! |

Re: Replacing Ignition Switch
That depends on if your replacing the electrical or the cylinder and keys. The electrical is on the steering colume about half way down on the top side, it is kinda hard to see and get to. But if you take your time you can get it done. Just remember where the screws go, and keep trake of the plugs, looks like one plug, but there are 2 that are together. Drop the small cover on the bottom of the colume, then remove the 2 bolts that hold the colume up, then you will have more room. Good luck.
