2001 Cigarette Lighter Fuse Location

Help, I've lost my owners manual. Does anyone know where the cigarette lighter fuse is located on a 2001 Park Ave.? The accy plugin under the drivers seat works, but not the one in the ashtray. I looked at the fusebox under the hood, but I didn't see it there and I think there must be one inside the car but I can't find it. Yep, I feel kinda dumb. Thanks for any help.

Re: Cigarette Lighter Fuse Location

The instrument panel cigarette lighter fuse is located in the rear compartment fuse center. It's under the rear seat cushion.

Re: Cigarette Lighter Fuse Location

Wow, who would have thought to use wasted space for something like that! The good folks at BUICK, that's who.

Mcmixv, thanks for your assistance, it was a blown 15 amp fuse under the seat like you said. You solved my problem and taught me something new.

Re: Cigarette Lighter Fuse Location

Glad to help.

Sign up for an account in the GM Owner's Center and you can download your owner's manual in PDF format:

I use the site a lot.
