sliding door acts up

80% of the time it takes more than one try to close the power sliding door with eather switch cleaned the connections and oild the slides, and it still acts up, need help

Ther was a recall on this door in the past where the dealer would adjust the closing mechanism or alignment to where it only required the expected one try. Had it done to my '97. Clean contacts with the green rough side of the sponge which helps as well which it sounds like you may have tried already.
