ems problems
my car is in terrible condition its hesitating and idleing rough it wants to still go when stoppped when park it vrooms in and out and has a terriblesmell like gas or something. it has been checked out diagnostically and i was told it is the computer or ems and it is backfireing the engline light stays on what can i do?

Welcome to AF.
It would he helpful if you post which engine you have. 3.5L V6 or 4.0L V8? The computer is called a powertrain control module (PCM). Since you have a SES/CEL light get it scanned or post the DTC error code(s) if you have them.
