querstions about my first ticket
this morning i got my first ticket. i left the house late and got a parking ticket for parking on street cleaning day. i live in california and am insured by AAA and im wondering will my rate go up. i really dont care about the $50 fine i can pay that but i wanna know how this is gonna afect my rate and record if it will at all

A parking ticket will generally not cause a rate increase - it's not a reflection on your driving, which is what insurers are concerned with.
So pay your $50 and drive safe!

Generally, yeah. Since where you park isn't generally an indication of how you drive.

A parking ticket is not a moving violation assessed against the driver. It is a fine assessed against the car, if you will. Pay the ticket, because if you do not, you may not be able to register the car, your car can be subject to impound.
