So i've searched around for the answer and found a few, but with the upcoming snow storm (live in VT) I really need to get this fixed like asap. So i'm posting a new one.
Wife has a 99 venture, and as of now the drivers window is half down. Goes down just fine, but won't go up for the life of it. By the sounds it may be some faulty wiring and such. Is there any way I can fudge it for now just to get it up before the storm? It has the typical problem of rocking forward when putting it up, but we've just worked with that problem by rocking it back as it goes up. Thought that it may be binding so much that it won't go up, but that's not the case. I can rock it back and forth where it sits now, but it makes no attempt to move up. Would definitely appreciate any help before the van fills up with 20in of snow over night. Thanks.

Re: Stupid Window
I'd take the door panel off. Sounds like linkage prob.

Re: Stupid Window
Okay, I'll be sure to check that.
Any other suggestions. I ask only because I don't have the internet at home and any info I get between now and 4pm today is what I'm going to have to work with until monday. I'll have all of about 2 hours to troubleshoot this dang thing before the storm hits this evening. At least if all else fails, I know that Gorilla tape and plastic will stand by my side.

Re: Stupid Window
Spray silicone lube (soak it) in the felt tracks/guides the window slides in at the front and back window frame, cycle it a few times, help it along to where it does it by itself. Should work. Wipe off excess lube on both inside and outside of window when in up position. Worked for me and many others in this forum. If it doesn't could be off its track. Won't say "rocker."
