Upgrade 4L80# 93 suburban Transmission?

1993 Chevy 4x4

Had the 4L80E tranny rebuilt 5 years 17,000 miles ago by a very reputable local transmission business. (at 140K)

I only use this truck (big block 7.4L engine) to haul...loads less than 6K

Now the transmission needs a rebuild!

(Well, its leaking trans fluid. Started with a noise that sounds like the brakes are sticking when pulling away from a stop. It shudders. and then inches forward till it feels likes something gives. was going fine again till I stopped.
I was limping home, and thought I wasn't going to make it, since it got worse and worse trying to pull away from a stop. this was while towing--haven't driven it since.

I kinda knew the rebuilt wouldn't last as long as the original, but time passed waaay too quickly.

Is there some other kind of tranny I should be trying to replace it with,
or upgrades?

need to something soon...thanks
