Exclamation 95 Z34 Common Oil Problem!

Hey I've seen a few people reporting the same problem of losing oil at a very slow rate. It's a common problem with this 3.4L engine the solution being to replace the valve cover gaskets and the gaskets around your spark plugs...To ensure this is your problem just pull a few spark plugs out, odds are they are covered in oil, you can also check the air filter and mass air flow sensor for oil all lead back to the same problem just make sure you get a full set of gaskets and you'll probably want to replace the spark plugs too along with the air filter obviously.

It is also the oil pumpdrive o-ring,the o ring that seals the oil pump drive dries up and that is the main source of the oil leak. The bad news is the back head has to come off.

Thanks for the info, I haven't encountered this problem yet but I'm sure it's going to come along sooner or later.
