Front end thumping
Well last Thursday when I was driving home my front end started to thump like I had a flat tire or something lodged in my tire. I stoped to look at it and I couldnt find any obvious problems. I took my car to Les schwab and they said my struts in the front end were going out so it was cousing my tires to "cuff". SO they rotated my tires and said that it would stop making the noise....but it didnt. So i went to a repair shop and they said the rear wheel bearings were shot causing my rear tires to wiggle about an inch...but they couldnt find anything wrong with the frint end. they wanted liek $600 to fix the rear end but i know i can do it for A LOT cheaper. Has anyone done this job or had a problem liek mine and know whats causing the noise in the front end? plz let me know

Re: Front end thumping
if it's a front wheel drive, could be a bad half shaft drive axle. The one on the side making the noise, usually worse when turning corners.
