Carbon Fiber Sunroof

I have a '90 Si and my sunroof is starting to rust. I wana get a carbon fiber sunroof but i cant find 1 anywhere. Does anyone know where to order a carbon fiber sunroof from? I'd even consider a glass sunroof but i dont want to add weight. Although i do like the see-thru aspect.

Re: Carbon Fiber Sunroof

If it's real bad, just delete the sunroof like I did. But definitely weld the seams. I used bondo and it never really came out right. But I did it all myself in my backyard and it never leaked. I ended up removing the whole damn assembly and it shaved a few pounds off the car.

And yes, the hatch and crx sunroofs are definitely NOT the same. GL

Re: Carbon Fiber Sunroof

I like how the girls (atleast i think you are girls by the pics) gave links as to where i can find the caps. Thanks. But yeahhhhhh i def have a rex and im not tryin to get rid of my sun roof. I def like the sunroof. If i didnt want a sunroof i would buy an hf and then swap out all my parts to that car. thats a nice 300-400 lb reduction. I like the idea tho turtle. Im more so worried about the weight and the fact of havin carbon fiber. plus im going to defeat the purpose of havin carbon fiber cuz im going to paint it the same color of my car anyway. If any one else has any sites or know anyone that has a carbon fiber cap they dony want let me know. i keep lookin on ebay and i cant find any on there. that was one of the first places i looked.
