Exhaust
91 silverado 350tbi
How would a dual exhaust coming off the cat with 3" pipe and 3 1/2" tips sound? Possibly 45 degree them out behind the wheels I am looking for loud but not snap crackle pop, and I want to keep the cat on cause to big of fine to get caught w/ out one. |

the cat is probably going to take away both the crackle and some volume of the exaust, i would go with flowmasters with turndowns as close to the back of the cab as possible, that way you can still get a little more volume, also the sound will rebound off of the asphalt and the bed of the truck, should give you a good deep rumble

well what kind of sound are you lookin for, are you goin to put any other muffler on?

2.5 pipes with a good muffler soud OK... some of the people run only the converter and no muffler (too loud). I run a large magnaflow muffler (two in , two out) configuration then duals out each side.... behind rear tire...or many run the pipes out under the bumper. No way would I run turn-downs under the body of any vehicle...."just my view".
