cat
i just put on a thrush turbo muffler.. sounds real good, anyways i was wondering about my cat... some people were telling me it will mess up my back pressure to much and wont kick down as good if i removed it, but i wouldnt mind getting a high flow cat but i heard there very pricey.
any suggestions thanks rex |

Re: cat
a universal high flow cat is about $50 and would need to be welded in. you may have back pressure issues if you have a high flow muffler and a high flow cat. i have a stock cat but a high flow muffler and i noticed a slight drop in torque which kind of stinks. don't remove the cat either. its a federal offense that carries a hefty fine if you get caught and the truck will not run right.
