Question Power Windows in 91 MGM

Greetings Folks,

Have 91 MGM with sluggish power windows on driver and passenger sides.
Sometimes window will open only half way...other times it will open all the way or not open at all.

What are the steps to get inside the door frame to check motor and/or gear train???? Another other suggestions??

Thanks.

Art G.

For Your Infromation:

My mother has a 91 Crown Victroria and by the way you were describing it, it sounds like the same problem I ended up taking it to am automotive window shop all they needed was it was either 1 or 2 nylon wheels on each door about the size of a dime or a little smaller it been a couple of years now since she had it repaired.

i helped my buddy repair the windows on his (now my) 90 grand marquis and they work beautifully. all it took was the nylon spacer deals inside the motor, a drill and some 14x20x1\2inch bolts with nylock nuts. took about a half hour per side. we pulled em out, cleaned em up and lubed the hell out of em with di-electric grease. havent had a problem with it since.
