Help - my 95 explorer is really rocking
It seems to wobble back and forth like someone is rocking it when ever I start driving from a parked position or a stop light. My husband checked the tires by hand and they all seem to be properly tightened but I am going down to the tire shop today to double check and make sure but my "check air ride system" light has come on a few times too. Could this be the problem, what do I have to do about it and will it be safe to drive a few hours on the highway to get to a dealer?? Please help me??

Re: Help - my 95 explorer is really rocking
If your X has air rid on it and the light came on it's possible you have an airbag leak. This would act like a bad shock and would mean you would probably getting roll, or rocking as you described it, cross wise. This means the rocking would be more left front to right rear and vise versa.

Yes - that is what the rocking seems to be like - Thank you. But is it okay for me to drive a few hours down the highway that way?? Thank you.

Re: Help - my 95 explorer is really rocking
It wont hurt the vehicle. Your vehicle will react different in emergency maneuvres. If you are not loading the vehicle you should be fine. But any excessive weight will be noticed greatly. I had a bad shock in one of my vehicles and four guys on board and the vehicle started dancing wich was a good feeling when passing a semi.
