Smile horn fuse

I need to know what number the horn fuse is on a 1994 buick lesabre. I dont have an owners manual. I got a copy of the fuse diagram already from this site but it doesn't have the horn listed as any of them. I dont have the cover to the fuse box either.

Re: horn fuse

The horn fuse is found on the passenger side, under the dash above the black plastic sound insulator. It'll be a 20 amp fuse. The sound insulator should have a label on it with the actual location of the fuse. The horn relay is also located here. Good luck!

Re: horn fuse

Fuse #3 & relay should be under the dash on the passenger side.

Re: horn fuse

Thanks a lot, does this mean I have to take the dash off to locate it? I'm slowly figuring this car out and it seems every time i turn around something else, LOL. Thanks again! I'll take a look at it and see what I come up with.

Re: horn fuse

So I replaced the horn fuse, twice, LOL and each time i did you could hear something like turn over, like when you turn the car over to accessories it'll make a click noise and like an amp firing up noise, I dont know how else to describe it, anyways and then you could see it pop, bright flash. What would cause this. I know fuse blowing iun a house is either an improper wiring or a fuse to small, I put a 15 amp in which was in it already.

Sounds like you've got a short somewhere in your horn circuit
