Hello 1982 mercedes 240D

hello everyone I am new to the forums I just got my first car and I love it more than anything. It is a 1982 mercedes 240D. It is in great condition and I was wondering if in this thread I could get some touch up tips since I am going to try to get into detailing and feel obligated to take care of it.
Well first I was wondering if anyone out there was an expert with the paint on them and if in 1982 it was a single stage paint because I dont want to order touch up paint and it be completely wrong. I believe it registers as a light ivory if thats what you want to call it looks creme to me. Another thing it looks as if it is leaking oil is that normal for a diesel I didnt think it was any big deal because the oil pan needs to be tightened but I was thinking if it was anything major. There would be no oil pressure and the engine wouldnt run
It is a very simple 4 cyl diesel with a whopping 89hp ... oh well doesnt need to go fast its a classic its supposed to turn heads any help would be appreciated!!!
