Driving problem

my 2000 JXI convertable is haveing some trouble in the front end. While driving down the road the steering wheel will shake back and forth constantly. Also, there is a thumping/humming noise coming from the driver's side front area. the tires were ust barely rotated and there was no difference, just wondering if anyone else had asimilar problem or if anyone has any ideas of what it could be.
thanks,
Matt

Re: Driving problem

sounds like the wheels are out of balance, its unlikely but possable to lose the counter balance weight. can bring it to any tire shop and they can balance them ...shouldnt be too much money so dont let them charge you more than $60
