Brake Problems

Yeah this car gave me no problems all the way too 100 thousand miles now it's one problem after another I just posted a thread about flickering headlights which is now fixed now to the problem on hand so I'm driving down the roading and the car starts making this pulsating feeling I ignore it so I pull up to a light and I smell this real bad burning smell I look and see smoke comming from the wheels as I drive futher down road the braking of the car gets worse and worse so I pull into my drive way I inspect the back brakes they are nice and cool I inspect the front brakes the rotors are a bright red color now only thing I could think of is the ABS is locking and unlocking the brakes as I drive hence the pulsating feeling if somebody could give me some help I will be greatful

Re: Brake Problems

If the abs was triggering you would hear it. Did you have the front brakes replaced lately?

Re: Brake Problems

Are the front and rear tires the same size and was the abs unit bleed when the lines were replaced?

Yes Front and Back are the same Size I'm guessing they did bleed the lines took it to a Ford Dealership to have the work done Altho maybe I should try re bleeding do you happen to know where the fuse is for the ABS I'll try unplugin it and if it stops then I know for sure it's the ABS
