Arrow looking to buy integra

im looking to buy a 94+ integra ls. i was wondering if the ls has as big an aftermarket as the gsr and a r(wondering if it has turbo kits for the sohc). i just want it for a beater cuz i want to start doing some serious mods to my truck, but im sure i will start off just doing a few small mods and it will turn into a full project. thanks for any info

The ls has a pretty big aftermarket. But it has a 1.8 L DOHC. Not SOHC. The biggest difference would be the GS-R is gonna have the upgraded options and roll better, for only about 1-3 grand more. It's worth it. If I had to try it all over again, I would buy the GS-R. This dang engine swap is a toughy.

I got my engine for 700... friend had one that he wrecked a while ago. For 700 plus the LS engine I get the GS-R. But for people that don't have the hook-up its gonna be $2,500 - $3,000. Not to mention that you then hafta get the tweets in the door panel, the sub (that the GS-R comes with and the LS doesn't) the painted side moldings, a fin, take out that dang rear hatch brake light (unless you want 4 brake lights), beef up the suspension and add a strut bar. It is just worth it in the long run to get the GS-R instead.

I still need tweets, sub's, painted side moldings (although a recent hit and run on the thing (which we got the license plate) will take care of that ), a fin (not stock, going with a Terminator 1), and that stupid rear hatch brake light is going to be a real son of a...

So anyway, there is my three and a half cents.
