Does anyone know where the stater relay is?
Hello Everyone,
I bought a new starter relay last night to replace mine that's going bad. However, I can't find the old one on my truck. My Haynes manual says that its located towards the top of the drivers side fender (between the battery and fuse box). So it's in a very assessable location. However, at that spot I have a component of my fluid clutch. I looked high and low on my truck last night looking for the thing, but no lock. Has anyone with a I4 / Manual transmission know where it is? If its important, my truck is a 2000. Thanks for your help. Best Regards, Stan

Your starter relay should be either attached to your starter, or, on older models located on the left side of your engine compartment. Its a square device with two large terminals going to the starter.
