ahhh.. gundam... panel line nightmare...
its gundam RX-78-2 1/144scale. ![]() tamiya metallic blue and metallic red. ![]() this part is hell its so small. took me a long time to get the face right...![]() ![]() ![]() how to get the details on the back of the shield???? ![]() this too.... ugh.... ![]() and the joints the half circle part should be black but i dont know how to do that... can someone help me? thanks! |

For the details on the back of the shield, mask and airbrush- and then definately follow it up with a wash (check the how-to's). What part of the half circle should be black?

When did Gundam become an automobile?
![]() Anyway, for the back of the shield and the soles of the feet, use washing and dry-brushing technique that you'd normally use to enhance the look of engine details. For the inside of the joints on the legs, use thinned black (or gray) paint, like you do to panel lines. And if you don't know how, read FAQ or search this forum (or any Gundam modeling forum). |
