Headlights wont work all other lights will need help...

ok i have a 1994 pontiac grand am se and the headlights wont work, brand new lights, all other lights work with no problems ive been using the lights under the headlights but those wont last long with cops around here so ive been trying to drive just in the daylight. It would be much appreciated for the help thank you

seems like a very common problem on this generation of grand am there is a little mfs switch inside the steering column nd you have take the steering wheel and plastic off to get to it just the thought of it makes me think what a pain in the a** i have been pulled over three times for it.
